Supported platforms

SOFA uses an automated build platforms which compiles the code for the following operating systems / compilers

• Linux : gcc-4.2, gcc-4.3, gcc-4.4
• Windows : Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
• MacOSX : gcc-4.0, gcc-4.2

SVN public branch

SOFA maintains two branches, which tends to be as close as possible. The public branch gives access to most of the features, the internal branch is kept mostly for ongoing research work. See SOFA's gForge page for details on how to check it out.

Dependency packages

Dependency packages for Windows MacOSX as well as instructions for Linux are avaible at http://www.sofa-framework.org/download.
